White Property Specific Plan

The White Property development application was withdrawn December 1, 2006, by the developer after a meeting with City staff. During the meeting, City staff presented an analysis of current water use and water use requirements once all available lots in the City are built out. The analysis indicates that the City does not currently have sufficient water supply and storage capacity to meet water needs in a drought year once all vacant lots in the city are built out. The proposed annexation of the White Property and its development would have exacerbated the problem. The developer's decision to withdraw the development application means that the proposed annexation and development is no longer being processed or considered by the City.
